Store owner, Brad decided to buy a Telstra licenced store after 13 years with Telstra, the dark side, he calls it. I must admit, technology terrifies me. I must be the only millennial to receive a tablet for their Birthday that took over 4 months to open it. Talking to the Brad, he eases my fears. Yes, he is clearly extremely technically knowledgeable but also kind and easy to speak with.
Brad tells me about the services, the do mobile, fixed lines, Foxtel, Telstra TV - everything I want in my house during this rainy winter.
Brad's Telstra store also offers a Tech Bar. The Tech Bar offers expertise and help with technology from luddites like to the tech savvy that needs just that extra bit of help - it's a great service which is free if you're a platinum Telstra member.
Brad also shares that his team can service in a number of languages! Collectively, the team speaks over 5 languages with their customers including Chinese, Vietnamese, English, Arabic and Hindi. The team is well versed in everything Telstra and have years and years of experience between them.
Brad is heavily involved in the community - sponsoring Noble Park Football Club. They do cool campaigns like $50 for the player of the day. They support local school fetes as well Edithvale Aspendale's Sporting Club.
I leave Brad promising myself that I'll bring my tablet into the Tech Bar and actually learn how to use it.
