From Wednesday 15 – Friday 17 October, Parkmore will come alive with colour as renowned Melbourne-based artist Anudeepa Kadiresan paints a large-scale mural outside Big W.
Anudeepa is an Artist, Cultural Curator and Art-Wellbeing Facilitator originally from Tiruppur, South India. For more than 18 years she has called Melbourne home, weaving her Dravidian heritage into her artistic practice. She is the founder of the Dravidian Art Gallery in Rowville and her work has been exhibited at leading galleries across Victoria, including a solo showcase at the Parliament of Victoria. Recognised for her voluntary contribution to multiculturalism through art, Anudeepa’s creations are both visually striking and deeply rooted in cultural storytelling.
Across three days, customers will have the unique opportunity to watch Anudeepa’s mural unfold live in-centre, with painting taking place from 9am daily.
Plus, by scanning the QR code on the mural wall, you’ll go into the draw to win a $250 India at Home gift pack, filled with delicious Indian favourites.
Come along, be inspired, and experience art in the making.
