As we welcome you back to Parkmore Shopping Centre, you will see additional safety and social distancing measures in place at our centre to make your next visit a safe one.
From Wednesday 28 October, Parkmore will be open from 9am.
The safety and comfort of our shoppers, retailers and staff is our first priority. A number of changes have been implemented including but not limited to:
Please ensure you wear a mask or face covering at all times when shopping at Parkmore - this is a mandatory condition of entry.
We continue to ask customers to refrain from visiting our centre if you are showing symptoms or have been exposed to anyone with the virus.
As you plan your next visit to Parkmore, consider these helpful hints and follow the 4 W’s to keep yourself and our wider community safe.
Shop Safe Tips:
Hand sanitise upon entry
We have touchless hand sanitising stations positioned at each entrance and through out the Centre. Please ensure you use these upon entry to the Centre.
Wear a properly fitted face mask when at Parkmore!
More information on appropriate face masks and how to wear them can be found here:
Please ensure you maintain 1.5m distance from other shoppers whilst in Centre.
We will be monitoring our Centre foot traffic closely and our team will be politely moving on any groups that appear to be congregating or creating congestion in Centre.
Follow Store Capacity numbers
Our retailers will be working hard to keep shoppers safe. We also encourage all shoppers to check store capacity numbers on the windows before entering the store.
And please be patient if you are required to queue outside the store.
At Parkmore we are very lucky to be situated right across the road from Wachter Reserve! Make the most of this by grabbing your take away meal from one of our foodies and enjoy a picnic in the park.
Practise good hand hygiene when using bathroom facilities
Or after using other shared facilities.
Government restrictions currently indicate 1 person per 4 sqm of total area.
Based on GPT’s calculations we are confident in our ability to comfortably manage our peak traffic numbers even as we move into Christmas trading, whilst maintaining our social distancing obligations without needing to restrict access to the centre.
The Centre Management team will be monitoring Centre foot traffic regularly and in the unlikely event that our foot traffic numbers are approaching capacity, the centre team will enact a management plan, to ensure safe capacity is maintained. This may include but is not limited to managing entrance to the centre and monitoring high traffic precincts.
We thank you for your support at this time. Rest assured, we are monitoring and acting on current and future government and relevant health authority’s advice. For additional information please visit: https://www.health.gov.au/
