Welcome Back to Parkmore

The comfort and safety of our shoppers, retailers, and staff remains the utmost priority as we welcome our community back. We are excited for our retailers to open and while we look forward to seeing you in centre again soon, some of the requirements of entry have changed. We encourage you to be familiar with the Victorian DHHS and Government guidelines and what is required of you when visiting our centres and retailers depending on your vaccination status.

From 29th October at 6.00pm Non Essential will re-open.

From 21st October at 11:59pm or when VIC hits the 70% (aged 16 and over) double-dose vaccination target eased restrictions will allow:

• Personal services such as hairdressing, barbers, beauty therapy and personal care to open under the 4sqm rule, open for fully vaccinated people, capped at 5 people
• Restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs are open indoors to 20 fully vaccinated people, 50 seated externally (outdoor only).
• Essential retail will remain open to both vaccinated and non vaccinated customers. 
• Non-essential retail remains closed – click & collect only

Before you visit, we encourage you to:
 

• Plan your visit – visit our website which has information on shopping safely, best parking suggestions, trading hours, details on essential and non-essential retailers and requirements of entry to ensure your visit is a smooth one
• Check in with QR codes upon entry to the centre and when entering each retailer premises
• Be respectful to retailers and staff – they are here to assist you and are only abiding to Health & Government orders
• Wear a Mask (unless exempt)
• Practice physical distancing

We are committed to a smooth welcome back for our customers, staff and retail staff, and have implemented a number of safety measures to assist this including:

• Additional security staff and COVID-19 Marshals in-centre as we are mindful about protecting all staff and customers
• Alongside COVID check-in signage, we have refreshed our Covid Safe messages in-centre including Shop Safe messages and current restrictions for vaccinated and un-vaccinated customers
• Increased cleaning rotations on top of the heightened hygiene measures previously in place
• PA announcements providing customers with details on our Covid Safe protocols and their requirements when in centre
• Digital directory signage with QR codes to check in and information to assist customers with conditions of entry with more efficient customer way-finding through the centre

 

Update | 14 October 2021

In line with the Department of Health and Human Services recent announcement that only Tier 1 COVID-19 exposure sites will be listed online from 4 October 2021 onwards, Parkmore will continue to follow the Department’s advice and only list Tier 1 exposure details within the centre on our website moving forward. For customers who may receive direct communications from DHHS regarding a potential Tier 2 exposure at Parkmore, please continue to follow the directions as advised by DHHS at the time and visit www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au for further information.
